Batman Arkham Bundle spotted
Batman: Arkham Origins will be the series’ first installment not to be developed by the award-winning studio, Rocksteady. However, if you happened to miss out on the UK dev’s first two entries in the Arkham series, you may want to look into the recently listed Batman: Arkham Bundle.
As spotted on GameStop’s website, the Batman: Arkham Bundle looks to collect both 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum, and 2011’s Batman: Arkham City. The collection is carrying a price tag of $40, which is an exceptionally good price considering both games will come complete with their respective DLC.
The package is currently dated for September 23 for both PS3 and Xbox 360, giving gamers enough time to catch up on the fantastic series before WB Montreal releases their Batman: Arkham Origins on October 25.
So g1s what do you think? Steal? Or rip-off? Let me know in the comments below!
As a guy who already owns Asylum and could find City for cheap, I have no need for this (Though I could be convinced if there was something additional and small).
For those who haven't played the games yet, this is probably the best way to do it, unless you could find the GOTY versions for cheaper.
This is great for me who hasn't play the Batman Arkham games yet.
Okay, you're rereleasing the Arkham games, but you cannot be bothered to port the first one to Wii U when the second one is already on there. I give up on seeing love for the Wii U.
$40 for these two games? That's a damn good price. Both of these games are amazing and if you like Batman even a little you'll love these games. I pre-ordered the Collectors edition for Origins and cant wait for that game to come out.
Not really. Like I told Kejin above this is value because it's physical. Physical copies should always be naturally more money than inferior digital copies. Its something that you can hold onto rather than just some files on your hard drive. Think of it like this, someone who pirates the game has the exact same thing as you but they didn't pay anything. If you buy the physical copy it's like you get something that isn't as easy to obtain for free.
Yeah that was digital though. Good deal, but this is value. Physical copies should always be more considering that t you are actually getting something.
They're also $9.99 each on Xbox Live right now.....
EDIT: Never mind...that ended on the 17th.
What happens when we already have one of them?
Considering I've got both games in their GOTY Edition for about $12 in Steam sales, I'd say that's a pretty lame bundle.
