Battlefield 3 Open Beta begins in one week

The Battlefield 3 Open Beta starts Thursday, September 29th and I am sure you are all excited to start playing. If by chance you have a pre-order on Origin before September 25th, or if you have activated an online pass for the Medal of Honor: Limited Edition/Tier 1 Edition, you will get 48 hours early access to the Beta. Those users who meet the aforementioned criteria, can start playing Tuesday, September 27th.
"For Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the Open Beta will be visible on the consoles' digital marketplaces under Battlefield 3. For PC, you need to install Origin and download the Open Beta from within the Origin application."

The last sentence before the quotes (starting with "meaning") needs to be connected to the previous sentence with a comma, because it is a dependent clause and is a sentence fragment on its own.

It wasnt enough that they had to make origin mandatory. That much I was fine with. THEN they said that they completely replaced the game's menu with that battlelog bullshit. I mind that. Wtf is the point of having origin if you need to have a web browser too?

Did EA find some jerky way to force you to get an Origin account and link it to your console account if you're playing on PS3 or 360? If not, then I'll check out the beta since I had a friend who constantly harassed me to play BF2 but I never did.
