Battlefield 4 Beta ad appears on Origin

Battlefield 4 Beta advertisment on Origin.

Editor's Note: Considering that EA didn't even reveal the existance of Battlefield 4 yet, the fact that this has had happened is quite staggering. EA seems to think so to, as they were pretty darn quick to remove this MoH:Warfighter ad from Origin. Although, to be fair (since we have no official word from EA at this point) I guess we should also consider the possibility of this being some hacker 's (or EA employee's) idea of a joke.

According to EA's digital distribution service, Origin, pre-ordering Medal of Honor: Warfighter will gain you access to a beta of the yet to be announced Battlefield 4.

There are no details about the apparent beta at this time, although (thanks to the ad), we do know that pre-ordering Warfighter would set you back $69.99.

So what are your thought's g1s? Are you surprised that a new Battlefield is on its way? or we're you already expecting this?

Ugh! Can't we go at least one year WITHOUT another military first person shooter. Call of Duty was never bad to begin with, but it's like that the same meal over and over, you'll get pretty sick and fed up with it. Same now goes with EA's two FPS franchises. If it's not Battlefield, it's Medal of Honour. If it's not Medal of Honour, it's Battlefield. Hell, Call of Duty 4 could've been played as long as Team Fortress 2.

Well the reason why Battlefield 3 took so long was due to the engine being developed, now that it's done would everyone REALLY be that surprised that EA (the masters of all things franchise) released a new one every year? They have stated the DLC for 3 will be released until March which gives plenty of time to launch Battlefield 4 in October before the release of Black Ops 2. Sigh.

*sigh* Proper beta testing takes months. I remember when beta really meant beta and it was a process to make sure the game worked correctly. These days it's merely a marketing ploy to make people feel like they are special because they can play a couple weeks early.
