Battlefield 4 expansions put on hold until multiplayer issues are resolved according to EA

12/5/13 4:10pm

Battlefield 4 has been plagued by multiplayer issues lately. Early last month their PC servers were under attack, then there were massive problems with the next-gen launch and now EA has halted production on future content. In a statement to Polygon, EA is making fixing the game their number one priority and they won't be moving on to future projects or expansions until they've sort out all the issues.

With this game being nearly unplayable online for over a month, I can only imagine how Premium members feel knowing their content has been delayed to resolve these issues. Some say after this statement was released the high-fives from Activision's HQ could be heard round the world.  Hopefully EA will make it up to them in the long run. A patch should be releasing today to address some, but not all of the issues.
