Bayonetta fans rage over exclusivity, while Platinum weathers the storm

Yesterday Nintendo revealed that Platinum Games would develop the sequel to cult hit Bayonetta exclusively for the Wii U. Now via an announcement on Platinum’s site, it is revealed SEGA (the previous publisher) will also be consulting on the development.

For anyone who previously recalled the prospect of this sequel never seeing the light of day due to SEGA’s financial woes, this is good news. And while it was not “intended to alienate fans”; Platinum realizes not everyone feels the same way. Let’s just say there are some people on the Internet who are fairly pissed off about the exclusivity and are releasing that negativity into the Internet.

Personally, I am just happy to see the game being developed. How about you g1s?
