If you’re a Pokemanic planning on picking up a copy of either Pokemon: Black 2 or White 2 … or both, Nintendo has announced an incentive for you to buy the game/s sooner rather than later.
Game Freak will be hosting a special event held between launch day October 7 and November 12, during which any Pokemon master with a copy of either game can download the legendary robotic bug Pokemon Genesect free of charge via Nintendo Wi-Fi.
This particular event is exclusive to North American players, but UK players will have their own Genesect catching event as well, but the date for that event has yet to be announced.
Back in the day you’d have to travel cross-country just to go to a random convention so you meet some dude who’d give you Mew through a Game Boy link cable hook-up. Life sure has improved for Pokemon fans since this whole Internet thing happened.

I think the reason why they didn't put this game on the 3ds is because game freak sucks at making 3d games I mean if you look on wikipedia you will see they only developed one game with 3d graphics and that was only released in japan only . so it sounds like game freak are afraid that the 3d pokemon game they make will suck because their not good with graphics
