A beta for Fighting is Magic was leaked
Pony news? Eeyup. And it might be something a few of you were hoping for. But I wasn't.
Editor’s Note: Apparently, the game was not only leaked through a Mane 6 Q&A but it has apparently been spreading online for a while now. Unfortunately for any of you bronies out there who were looking to get your hooves (see what I did there?) on it, it looks like this leak will actually put a fairly lengthy delay on the complete product.

Is it weird that as a fighting game fan, I’m a tad disappointed that this is delayed?

When I first heard about this, I wasn't sure I believed it. After all, I heard it first on 4chan's mlp board (and from what I know, never trust 4chan). But after a few hours, the internet blew up with people playing a leaked beta of My little Pony Fighting is Magic and all I have to say is: internet. I am dissapoint.
Look. I don't blame you for playing it if you already have. This game has had a lot of hype. But the developers said they were dissapointed in the leak and for good reason. The game is still buggy as Hell from what I've heard. However, the developers are letting people play it because its not like they're losing money by doing so. The full game will be free anyway! But I won't be playing it out of respect for the developers. They want people to have the full gaming experience and I intend on getting one.
In the meantime, go hunt for a link to download it if you're so curious. I'm not stopping you and the Mane 6 dev team isn't either. Go wild.......... what? Did you expect ME to link it to you? Haha! (type in "Fighting is Magic leak" and I'm sure you'll get something.).

I dont think anyone can blaim people for downloading and playing the leaked version, but i would be disappointed that such a leak actually could happen.

I'm DEFINITELY not a fan of how the game actually has colorful horses in it due to my boiling hatred for them. However, I wouldn't mind being able to fight them for once. Conflicted. Hopefully some non-colorful-horse characters will be in there. Not that I probably would WANT to play it...but still.

I've been super hyped about this game since I first heard about it, but I'm not going to check the leaked game. I really want to play the full version of the game when the time is right, and the buggy pre-alpha would probably just ruin the experience for me.
I'd hate to try it and find something that I don't like and then noticing it isn't removed from the game in its alpha or beta stages, so I'd lose some interest in playing the full version. The same thing happened with Minecraft going from beta to 1.0, I've just recently gotten back into it because I found out the things I didn't like were removed couple updates ago.
I'm a bit sad that the game got delayed now, but there wasn't an official release date anyway so it is not that bad...

I'm no brony, but I already got my hands on it to see how it was, sorry guys. (there was a topic on /v/, and I got to it before it got deleted) other then the bugs and some weird hit boxes which is a given for a pre-alpha build, it's not that half bad for a fighting game. It's like playing SF3 in a sense. If it works this well for a pre-alpha, then the full game will do very well as a fighting game in itself.
oh btw pinkie's level 3 is BS, it's like a shun goku satsu that you can spam over and over again even in the air.
