Bethesda might own the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. license after all?
According to Ukrainian blogger, one Sergey Galyonkin, the previous rumor about Bethesda owning the rights to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. may not have been entirely untrue. Rumor has it that Bethesda may in fact have the rights to publish a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game, just not in the extended universe. Yeah, I am confused by that as well.
Basically they would be able to make a game using their own technology, which could be based on the property S.T.A.L.K.E.R. How that game could be made without tapping into the extended universe befuddles me. Bethesda has only made a statement of “No comment” so far, but maybe we will hear something more about this at QuakeCon this weekend.

Im sorry all fans of stalker and please dont rage at me but I started playing stalker and thought it actually was kind of boring but fallout is one of my favorite game series's so for me this is kind of happy news. It would be awsome to see a bethesda stalker imo. Unfourtanatley if bethesda owns the rights they will probably just hold them to make sure a competitor to fallout is gone. Extenended universe is something outside the main franshies. In this case stuff that arent games, like books, movies etc. Så Bethesda can make a true S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game but not anything else like merchandise.
