Team Meat fans who have yet to play The Binding of Isaac will be happy to hear that a flash demo for the game is now up on New Grounds (which is actually where the original version of Meat Boy was posted). It includes two levels, 60-plus items, and 8 possible bosses.
But that’s not all! Edmund McMillen also revealed that his biblically based horror epic will be getting a huge update this Halloween, which will be available for free on Steam!
The update includes 20 new items, 3 new bosses, a new playable character, more achievements and a new "final chapter.”
Here’s what the man himself had to say in an email sent out to his fans:
"This final chapter should be a much bigger challenge. Isaac will become exactly what I wanted to release but didn't have the time to finish."
Not only can fans play the demo on their browsers but those who bought/buy the game on Steam will soon be getting a massive update free of charge? Oh Mr. McMillen. You clever rascal! This is why you're one of the most respected indie developers out there!
