"Pencils down, Hands Up - BioShock Infinite has gone gold". That was the title of the game's creative director, Ken Levine's, latest blog post on the developer's website as It seems Irrational Games has finally announced that the latest installment to the BioShock series has been completed and gamers should expect to have the highly anticipated title in their hands on March 26.
Levine wrote the following statement regarding the game going gold...
"Today, I’m happy to announce that the game has gone gold. What that means is that it has been approved by both Sony and Microsoft (and the PC Gods, natch) to be sent to the manufacturing guys to load up fleets of trucks with BioShock Infinite and be driven to a store near you on March 26th”
Levine continued on to say how BioShock Infinite’s unique experience will make it a game you won’t forget anytime soon…
"“Nobody has ever built a game quite like this. It’s a shooter, but a shooter that brings you to very uncomfortable and dangerous places. I can’t demand that you play the game; I can promise you, however, that once you have, it will be an experience you won’t soon forget”
So g1s what do you think? Will it be worth the wait? Or have the multiple delays left a sour taste in your mouth? Let me know in the comments below and be sure to check out the game's latest trailer...
Careful there Levine, don't start making those over the top promises about a game's content that you don't know if you can keep. Levine is one of my personal favorite game directors and I have respect for him, but I've been kind of on edge lately after A:CM. Well, nice to see Bioshock: Infinite is finally getting released, here's to hoping it lives up to some of the hype. On a side note I think the design of Songbird is really cool and when I first saw him I was hoping that that thing would be like the next Nemesis or Pyramid Head, a nearly unstoppable pursuer enemy that leaves a lasting impact.
Hi my name is Adam (I guess you could already tell by my username) I'm not really a punk it's just sort of a nickname that was given to me. I'm a Canadian, a gamer, a movie geek and fan of everything that is awesome. I like to blog about the latest news in video games and share them with you g1s! It would be awesome if you subscribed, but hey that's your choice!

Why anybody thinks this is gonna be any better that the other sequels is beyond me.

Oh, Levine. You smart bastard, you.

Delays don't bother me at all, I wait like 2 years after a games release before I buy it anyways.

I won't be getting it out of the gate, but I will definitely play it at some point.
