Bioshock: Infinite PC specs released
Planning on picking up the upcoming Bioshock: Infinte for PC? Well, it looks to be a pretty big game and some computers may not be able to handle it. But thanks to a recent blog post by Infintie's technical director , Chris Kline, PC players can now see if their computer can support the game, as the post outlines graphic settings, memory, controls etc...
Requirements.
Minimum:
- OS: Windows Vista Service Pack 2 32-bit
- Processor: Intel Core 2 DUO 2.4 GHz / AMD Athlon X2 2.7 GHz
- Memory: 2 GB
- Hard Drive: 20 GB free
- Video Card: DirectX10 Compatible ATI Radeon HD 3870 / NVIDIA 8800 GT / Intel HD 3000 Intergrated Graphics
- Video Card Memory: 512 MB
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
Recommended:
- OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-bit
- Processor: Quad Core Processor
- Memory: 4 GB
- Hard Drive: 30 GB free
- Video Card: DirectX11 Compatible, AMD Radeon HD 6950 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
- Video Card Memory: 1024 MB
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

I looked through the minimum requirements and thought, 'NICE! My computer will be able to handle the game just fine." Then I looked at the recommended specs and thought, "Maybe not so much. I'm sure not able to run at max graphics." Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 7 SP1 CPU: Intel Core 2 DUO 3.16 GHz (Wolfdale) RAM: Corsair Dominator GT DDR2 / 4 GB GPU: Radeon HD 4870 / 512 MB HardDrive: Corsair GS SSD 128 GB
I built my rig in 2008 and just recently upgraded my Hard Drive to an SSD. I've been meaning to upgrade for some time now but just don't have the money :( .
