As if Blizzard wasn’t already one big tease after another, Blizzard CCO Rob Pardo has once again dropped a hint that Diablo 3 may come to consoles one day. In a conversation with Polygon, Rob eludes to the face that Blizzard has “builds up and running on it [a console]. We're hoping to get it far enough along where we can make it an official project, but we're not quite ready to release stuff about it, but it's looking pretty cool”.

Why they are biding their time is anyone’s guess, but with a looming expansion pack and the continuous patching, they may be trying to get all their ducks in a row before entering the console market with this game. The fact that this is out there though does bring a few questions to mind regarding how the Auction House will work and whether or not you will need to have an Internet connection to play.

What would you g1s prefer? Parody across console and PC? Or a Diablo 3 “light” for consoles giving you story and co-op, but no real money AH or always on DRM?
