Brothers in Arms Furious 4 gets delayed
In a conversation with CVG, Randy Pitchford wants to assure everyone that Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 is still happening. When asked about the rumors of the cancellation, Pitchford clarified that the trademark rejection was due to the studio and publishing filing for the same trademark. Gearbox is now doing so separately.
While “he can't really talk about Furious Four right now," Pitchford wants everyone to know that this won’t necessarily be the same game that we saw at E3 2011. "The game has evolved, I think people are going to be surprised by what they'll see, and it's still evolving. One of the reasons why we're not talking about it now is that it's evolving and we need to make further changes before we can start talking about it." With Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines still incoming, I am perfectly happy letting them evolve the game.
