Buena Vista Reveals Cancelled Mickey Concepts
In light of Junction Point Studio's closing, Buena Vista Games has revealed a slew concepts art pieces that were considered before Epic Mickey began.
For example, they considered a game called Spy Mickey:
It looks like they were going with a more sci-fi oriented title, as the art done by a former Buena Vista Game artist has shown. (Is Donald Duck covered in the car parts like armor? Digiduck?)
They also had ideas for a Super Smash Bros. style fighter with Disney characters (Let's call this Mickey Mouse Cartoon Crash: All Out Attack):
And finally, they wanted to revive the Rockateer (YES!) of all things (Hmm... how about Rockateer 2: On The Run?):
As someone who loathed Epic Mickey's handheld sequel, I have to say, a Rockateer game Starring Mickey Mouse or any Rockateer-related game on modern consoles would probably have been better by a mile. Actually, all of them sound pretty good, I have no idea why they didn't try any of these! Get on it Disney, or make Ducktales 3!

Disney Smash? That would have been awesome. Especially with Marvel & Lucasfilm up their sleeves...Holy crap the possibilities are insane! I mean who wouldn't want to pit Buzz Lightyear & Iron Man together or Darth Vader & Jafar...or Donald Duck & Howard the Duck :P

Different companies. Plus the continuities wouldn't work very well regardless of whether or not Disney owns them, they've proven before that they're not gonna slap on another franchise just because they can (Kingdom hearts being a good example, as they didn't add any Marvel)

Id like to point out that its more probable that the Donald "covered in car parts" is intended to be a giant Donald Mech. The car parts would have to shrink down to Donald size, and even then the proportions of the bill aren't right.
