Crytek's current money problems appears to have gotten worse with both Kotaku and other sources stating a bulk of Crytek's UK staff have recently walked out on the studio. One source claims around 100 employees had left the studio.

The walkout occurred over the weekend with employees being frustrated over the growing sum of unpaid wages owed to them. The grievances sent to Crytek's management hinted at the walkout being temporary although it is possible a number of those who walked out might have left completely.

Crytek themselves are currently rumored to be in talks with publisher Deep Silver over the possibility of Deep Silver becoming the new owners of the company and help alleviate the current money situation.

Besides Crytek UK, previous reports had stated Crytek's Sofia studio was also facing similar problems in regards to unpaid wages and low employee morale.
