The BYOC area at QuakeCon 2012 had some promising competitors
One great aspect of QuakeCon's huge "Bring Your Own Computer" area is checking out all the lovely rigs for the year. Attendees use the Con as an opportunity to show off their creativity and computing prowess. So these are the highlights from 2012, sans one notable exception. Anyone who was there and noticed I didn't include it; don't worry. That particular rig was so impressive it will be getting its own gallery tomorrow. Don't forget to check out the QuakeCon Event page for anything you may have missed from the weekend. Enjoy!
Hah! Alright... Maybe next time?
I have no idea honestly. All I did was look for pretty lights!
A couple of years ago I met the guy on a lanparty who built this : still one of the best casemods I've ever seen... http://www.bit-tech.net/modding/2004/12/20/hypercube_part_1/17
