Call of Duty Elite goes live for Xbox Live
Call of Duty Elite, a new subscription service for the widely anticipated shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, is now officially available on Xbox Live. The service can be currently downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace for about $49.99, and the download size is approximately 100MB.
The service contains both free and premium features. Free features can be acquired by registering on the official Call of Duty website, which you access by clicking here. The more advanced features require the premium subscription, which is described above. Amongst other things, the free features include career profiles, a theater mode, and the ability to create clans. More advanced content (premium content) includes early access to new game features, access to episodic video entertainment, and more notably, access to monthly Modern Warfare 3 downloadable content. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, with assistance from Raven Software. The largely anticipated first-person shooter, which was published by Activision, will officially release tomorrow on November 8 for all current gaming platforms.
