Last fall we talked about Ryan Payton’s departure from 343 Industries and their current Halo 4 project. The creation of his studio Camouflaj quickly followed and he began work on an unannounced game. This project is being developed in conjunction with the production studio Logan and as of today, has been revealed as République.

République aims to bring the action/stealth genre to mobile devices in a big way, where you control a series of electronic devices (cameras, lights, etc) in an attempt to keep a woman named Hope safe from her pursuers. Bullet points include things like a 6 hour campaign, Metroidvania exploration, full voiceovers and cinematics.

Like most small studios, Camouflaj is turning to Kickstarter in an attempt to raise the half-million dollars needed to make this dream a reality. You can head over to the Kickstarter page now if you are interested in funding this iOS game from Camouflaj.
