Capcom not planning to port Monster Hunter 4 to the Vita
I'm no Nintedo hater, i just think there business ideas are very very bad. that and they have pretty much Ruined/forgot about my fav Nintendo series Metroid. Nintendo is amazing company, pre-gamecube era. Today there just a bunch of guys with shit tons of money who keep makeing bad ideas for there original audience.
The more you talk the more you sound like a Nintendo hater, you should go to Youtube or gametralier where Nintendo hater roam free.
Well the main difference is the WiiU is a horrible design flaw in specs, timing, and ideas. it's a modern console... in a world were Modern is change in less then 5 months.
it dose make sense to stupid business they look at the system sells and not at potential, the Vita still isn't selling atl that well, if this came to the vita sells would rise, but they don't see that, or just don't want to take the .01% chance of that not happening.
The same thing is happening to the Wii U right now , and the PS3 when the PS3 first came out
See monster hunter not being on the Vita dosen't make sense, final fantasy switching to ps1 did. Hardware was better and it's the same in this case. Tri sold well? don't surprise me, it was the Nintendo wii, i guarantee very few people bought it for monster hunter alone and it was a "just happen to have" moment. Sames goes fro the 3DS, has a huge audience, i do own MH3u if not only for the fact that i must own every console that comes out for reasons like this. I don't want to miss a game series. But i look at the situation as a whole and not just on my minor opinion. It has hit the MH community in a rough spot, win it could be so much better.
Only this is better, at least in my opinion.
Wouldn't switch I guess that's why Monster hunter Tri sold so well. The reason it sold well is because you had the fans who aren't extreme loyalist, and didn't mind buy another system, then you have people who never played Monster Hunter, tried it and enjoyed it . You sound like those annoying Nintendo fanboys back in the late 90's when Final Fantasy switched systems
See the problem is, monster hunter hit a exlusive deal with Nintendo. Most of the time they mke excuses of why they won't move next gen or won't go a to a system. Thing is if monster hunter never released on he 3DS the Vita would sold out because Monster Hunter would of sold units. Simple, Software selfs hardware, you forgetting that key. This is just another excuse from this developer to keep everything simple. You can't just expect your costumer to switch brands. What if Starcraft 3 went and said "fuck all, were Mac elusive now". you would not only lose your entire audience, but 80% of the fanbase won't switch.
capcom is not, WayForward is
Did you guys consider that like maybe capcom doesn't want to spend money to develop games for the vita because sony isn't selling its own handheld? Similar to why companies won't make games on wii u, because nintendo isn't selling its own console? It's not capcom abandoning it's original monster hunter fanbase, they're expecting people to switch from psp to the 3ds if they want to continue playing their franchise, I also feel like xbox 360 getting duck tales remastered a month later has less to do with capcom, disney, or wayforward. It must be because of microsoft's summer of arcade. Microsoft probably demanded capcom or whomever "HEY If you want your game on xbox 360 in august then you must give us exclusive timed launch during our month." Notice that wii u, steam, and ps3 aren't getting any of those 4 titles in august? It must be because whoever was in charge of selling duck tales, they didn't want to do the summer of arcade so Microsoft is releasing it in September... not Capcom. This is all some random person's speculation on it all but seriously it's all just business and it's not like monster hunter isn't going to ever be on vita... just that sony needs to provide capcom with a reason to put the system seller on the dead handheld. At least sony is FINALLY about to start giving the vita a fighting chance with it's necessary (but not quite enough) price drop. Seriously now those memory cards need to come WAAAAY the heck down in price if they want to get me to buy the handheld, otherwise I'm good with my 3ds.
So Vita Owners get yatagarasu ( a fighting game that is a entirely new IP and has a 50% chance of failing) and we 3ds owners get Monster Hunter 4 ( a highly anticipated games from one of Capcom's greatest franchises). Seems like a fair deal
This is like reverse Ultra Street Fighter 4.
Here's hoping they pull another Portable 3rd... You know, but with a localization this time.
actually i might be overthinking things but its reverse....capcom is giving ducktales remastered to us 360 users on september 11th a month after the wii u pc and ps3 release which makes little to no sense
And there goes the Vita's chances of competing against the 3DS.
Was anyone expecting them to?
yea cause your original monster hunter audience isn't worth your time.
so now capcom is hating yet another fan base..... this hasnt stopped them abandoning exlusivity on the 3ds before. We all remember that capcom ported re revelations to consoles. Hell if mh4 was on the vita it would give an excuse for people to buy the damn thing especially since the vita has both a left and right CONTROL STICK built in on the handheld and not an assesssory
so capcom do hate sony thats why they sided with microsoft
