Capcom reveals the timeline for their upcoming digital service, Arcade Cabinet
With it being the 30 year anniversary of Capcom’s humble beginnings in Japanese arcades, they’ve chosen to bring back the classic arcade games from yester-year. There will be seventeen titles as outlined in the timeline below and the Arcade Cabinet will come filled with additional features.
Each game will give you access to a music player, allow you to fiddle with the game’s DIP switches, and even share content. For some reason this content is different on each platform; “PlayStation 3 users will be able to capture video of gameplay to post on YouTube, while Xbox 360 users will be able to upload screenshots to Facebook.” Furthermore, the Arcade Cabinet will come with online play (where applicable), global leaderboards, and a training mode.
You might be looking at this list and doing the math. So it’s; $60 if you buy them individually, $45 if you buy them in packs, and $30 if you hold out until May 21st. Any g1s getting these before May 21st?

Lots of cool games up there, but a bit on the pricey side.

Way to expensive. I would buy the whole thing for $15 maybe, maybe $20 I'm not a big fan of emulation but does Capcom not know I can emulate all that shit if I wanted to?
Gedillt
Does the Arcade Cab itself cost anything?
Sckarton
thanks to emulators, i don't need to give my money to capcom. before anyone come to me and say "piracy is wrong" look at what MPAA said about it http://thetechblock.com/mpaa-okay-okay-online-piracy-isnt-theft/

Why do they never put the original Street Fighter in anything?
ThePortlandian
$30 is the right price for me. May it is.
