Check out the Nintendo 48 Hour Challenge Finalists!
12 people including Andre the Black Nerd, Pro Jared, and Shawn from Underbelly went to LA to become 3 teams that would make videos to be screened at the Sundance Film Festival. The kicker was that there was a specific feature in New Super Mario Bros. U that each team would have to incorporate into their video. They all came up with some pretty cool and creative stuff, but only one could win.
First we have Team Boost made up of Pro Jared, T.J. Smith, D.J. Scott, and Wren Weichman with an epic rap battle against a Sony executive facing off against some of Nintendo's mightiest heroes.
Then Zack Finfrock, Ethan Newberry, Frank Howley, and Josh Jepson came together as Team Challenge to formulate the next great Mario game. Try as they might, things might not turn out as they hoped.
But as there can only be one winner, that honor goes to Team Coin Rush and their attempt to create Mario coins in the real world. Andre the Black Nerd, Shawn from Underbelly, Charley Guzman, Alex Carpenter, and a little extra acting help from JD Witherspoon took home the gold at Sundance, and congrats to those guys.

The finalists have many advantages that can not be compared with each other. There are many different types of things that you can compare than just ability alone.

Challenged the finalists this is a very exciting thing. There are many people who have a lot of opinions who can win this challenge easily.

Finalists are not necessarily superior to an absolute win in this challenge. You need the luck factor which is a very decisive victory one.

You can imagine many kinds of capabilities possessed by the finalists. They certainly are not the finalist who has the ability, but they are certainly diverse professionals.

Those who have good ability and could be a finalist assessed should be able to convince the jury to be able to win a lot. Most people are very happy with this contest.

I like that Coins video. Just goes to show what happens with inflation with coins in NSMB2.

I liked that Jared was Miyamoto, but I was not a big fan of the Little Mac portion. Impressive what they were able to come up with in 48 hours. I thought Andre's was the best. Glad his team won.

Congrats to Andre and his team for winning, but in all honesty, I really, really liked Jared's team's video. I enjoyed it much more, especially the Punch-Out!! part and not just because it was Jared.
Anyway, it looked like a lot of fan being able to compete in this challenge, so I'm happy for all the contestants. Once again, congrats to Andre!
