- Mario Tennis from the Wii Virtual Console.
- Electroplankton Rec-Rec from the 3DS eshop.
Nintendo has updated the game rewards for Club Nintendo this month with 2 games being available.
The first game is Mario Tennis from the Wii Virtual Console. Originally released as a Nintendo 64 game in 2000 and later ported over to the Virtual Console in 2010.
Developed by Camelot and was the second Mario Sports game for the N64 after Mario Golf which was released in 1999. The game is basically tennis with the twist of Mario characters and items from the Mario universe to help create the arcade and stage hazards most of the Mario Sports games provides.
The other game is Electroplankton Rec-Rec from the 3DS eShop. Originally released as a DS game in 2005/2006 and later ported over as a DSiware game in 2009, which is the basis for the 3DS version.
This game is an interactive music game with 2 modes (Performance and Audience) with the goal of making music by moving the small plankton characters by the use of stylus controls. Each plankton creates a different effect similar to the Pikmin series having each Pikmin play a different role.
Unlike previous months, the games for July will not last the entire month which could mean more games will arrive later. Mario Tennis is available until July 22 at the cost of 150 Coins while Electroplankton is available until July 15 at the cost of 100 Coins.
