Club Nintendo: Three new games available as digital rewards
For those of you unfamiliar with the service, Club Nintendo is a customer rewards program which provides virtual coins in response to registering certain games and completing surveys. These coins can be saved up and redeemed for various prizes, ranging from posters to clothing to even video games. Each month, Nintendo has had some digital games available on their online and handheld stores, and this month is no exception.
This month, active members of the service can pick up Mario's Picross, Radar Mission, and Art Style: Cubello for 100 coins each. The coin amount is approximately equal to two Nintendo Wii game registrations, a little over three Nintendo DS registrations, or ten post-registration surveys. Mario's Picross and Radar Mission were initially released for the Nintendo Game Boy, but they later saw ported releases on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. Art Style: Cubello was originally released as a Nintendo WiiWare title.
Mario's Picross plays like a puzzle game where you have to swap pieces horizontally and vertically in order to match a displayed image. Radar Mission is a military-based title which features two separate modes of turn-based strategy gameplay. Art Style: Cubello is a puzzle entry which involves aiming and launching colored cubes at a large three-dimensional object.
Remember, these offers only last for a month, so if you're interested, pick up the game of your choice as soon as you can. If there are any that specifically interest you, feel free to also leave your comments below.
I probably should become a Club Nintendo member since I buy so many Nintendo games to begin with. : P
Does anyone know why nintendo of Europe won't do this. I have over 3000 points and don't want anything there yet(At least which I can afford)
Nothing too exciting this month. It's ok though, I just burned all of my coins a couple weeks ago on Mario Party 2 (which is awesome). I should have more coins for the April games.
I think most people would enjoy it enough without Machamp, Alakazam, Golem, and Gengar? if it just meant playing it at their leisure. But I also dont care cuz I still have my GBC and cartridges and im sure the super die-hard fans do too. All-in-all, Nintendo probably COULD port it,
"In the long run they would have to remake the game."
haha "new" games....good one. It should also be noted that the 25th anniversary Zelda posters went back in stock for 400 imaginary coins (I made sure to order some this time). Now if only the 3DS game card case would go back in stock....
I actually think I would like Mario's Picross.
I'm kicking my self right now I could of so got DR. mario when I got Majoras mask but no I thought they would give something just as cool next month but nope still nothing.
Eh. Not really caring for the two Gameboy games. Never heard of Cubello, but seems interesting. Still disappointed at this months awards, though.
Not against the idea but how would you do the whole trading/battling aspect? After all there are Pokemon whom can only be evolved through trading with friends. In the long run they would have to remake the game.
The only reason I know about Mario's Picross is because of ScrewAttacks Top 10 Worst Mario Games.
And Pokemon Stadium on Wii Virtual Console. That would be bitchin'.
I want Pokemon Red/blue for 3ds or some GBA titles
