Club Nintendo: Three new games available as digital rewards

3/3/12 6:20pm

For those of you unfamiliar with the service, Club Nintendo is a customer rewards program which provides virtual coins in response to registering certain games and completing surveys. These coins can be saved up and redeemed for various prizes, ranging from posters to clothing to even video games. Each month, Nintendo has had some digital games available on their online and handheld stores, and this month is no exception.

This month, active members of the service can pick up Mario's Picross, Radar Mission, and Art Style: Cubello for 100 coins each. The coin amount is approximately equal to two Nintendo Wii game registrations, a little over three Nintendo DS registrations, or ten post-registration surveys. Mario's Picross and Radar Mission were initially released for the Nintendo Game Boy, but they later saw ported releases on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. Art Style: Cubello was originally released as a Nintendo WiiWare title.

Some screenshots from the Radar Mission, a Game Boy title

Mario's Picross plays like a puzzle game where you have to swap pieces horizontally and vertically in order to match a displayed image. Radar Mission is a military-based title which features two separate modes of turn-based strategy gameplay. Art Style: Cubello is a puzzle entry which involves aiming and launching colored cubes at a large three-dimensional object.

Remember, these offers only last for a month, so if you're interested, pick up the game of your choice as soon as you can. If there are any that specifically interest you, feel free to also leave your comments below.

haha "new" games....good one. It should also be noted that the 25th anniversary Zelda posters went back in stock for 400 imaginary coins (I made sure to order some this time). Now if only the 3DS game card case would go back in stock....

Eh. Not really caring for the two Gameboy games. Never heard of Cubello, but seems interesting. Still disappointed at this months awards, though.

The only reason I know about Mario's Picross is because of ScrewAttacks Top 10 Worst Mario Games.

Nothing too exciting this month. It's ok though, I just burned all of my coins a couple weeks ago on Mario Party 2 (which is awesome). I should have more coins for the April games.
