[Community Showcase] Gotham City Impostors delayed

tl;dr

WB has delayed Gotham City Impostors

This morning WB has announced that their Batman FPS, Gotham City Impostors, has been delayed until February. The reason for the delay is unknown right now. The FPS from WB was supposed to be released next week on XBL, PSN, and PC. Maybe the delay was due to a bug they found during the beta that they still need to fix, but I could be wrong.

As a Batman fan, I am excited for this game to come out. It looks like Team Fortress 2, but with fake Batmen and Jokers running throughout Gotham shooting each other. Seems silly if you think about it. What do you g1s think of this upcoming game? And why do you think the game was delayed? Leave your opinions in the comments below!

thank god its delayed, i have the beta, and it is fucked, the game is tremendous fun but technical improvements really need to be made, like match making, i was waiting for players for over an hour, and thats bad mkay, thats real bad.

I don't think it'll be that good. The only thing the game has going for it is the Batman license. No one would give half a shit about the game if not for that.

Thats definitely true but I'm still leaving my opinions for when the game comes out. It does kinda remind me of TF2, and it just looks like mindless fun. It makes me think of the scene in The Dark Knight "What's the difference between you and I?" "I'm not wearing hockey pads". I'm hoping for quite a bit of comedy. Hell, and more Batman Heroes/Villians.

Funny you should say that, that's exactly what I think. Everyone was all "Fuck yeah, Brink!" and then it came out, got bad reviews, and no one wanted to play it anymore. I'd like to be wrong about Impostors, but I haven't seen anything really special from it.

Can someone explain the appeal of this ggame to me? It looks like TF2, but with a reskin of Batman characters. Is that really that appealing to people?
