So they're basically relegating Rare to sports games... How the mighty have fallen...

I just going to say this,I mayhave not played any of their games, but being in the casual market is just bad,not good, just plain bad and dissapointing.

He does have a point that three million units is a good figure but I don't think he understands that most who know of Rare's previous work are more interested in games like those.

Rare, you're on the map. It just says 'Microsoft's kiniect bitch' instead of 'Rare'...

Well, Rare did make my Childhood awesome, but Now... they should just get left in the dust

Well, sure, that's a good business plan. For failure. People only bought Kinect Sports because there were barely any Kinect games out at the time, and most of the Kinect titles suck anyway - Kinect Sports just happened to be slightly better than most.
Making motion-sensing sports games is not "pushing boundaries". It's being a bunch of incompetent assholes. Just make some GOOD games again, Rare. Not more crap that no one really wants.
I think the best part of this is that Rare used be a well-known name for good games, but now, they won't be known well, even if their games sell. What, do your family or friends sit down and have a discussion about the great company behind Kinect Sports? Unlikely. No one really cares about Rare any more.

i think being on the map is making relevant games. of course it sold, is one of the few titles the kienct has. its like saying that wii sports is a success because every single wii owner has a copy.
Inderama
Yeah, Kinect Sports is not gonna hold Rare together.

I don't even want to make a long educated post about Rare like the last few people.
FUCK THE PRESENT RARE. That's all I could say.
