This is the coolest thing that's ever been sent to the ScrewAttack HQ
This is a cool bit of swag that was sent to me from Capcom but I want to be 100% perfectly clear: receiving this in the mail in no way shaped my perception of DuckTales Remasted. This came in on Wednesday and my review for the game was finished Tuesday night. You'll see the full video review as well as a bunch of other goodies on Monday the 12th.
Now that we have that out of the way, I personally feel this may be the coolest thing ever sent to us at the HQ. Take a look at the lunch box and all the fun goodies that was inside it. Yes, that fake shredded money - just as you'd expect from Scrooge McDuck. Apparently there's only 150 of these things given out so having one is pretty cool. Who knows, maybe one day the gold DuckTales cart will become some sort of a collectable and be worth as much as one of the Nintendo World Championship carts. Yeah, probably not.... but it's still really cool.
Haha, that's a nice touch with the "life is like a hurricane" part. I'd like to get a copy of that cartridge.
Truly stunning, and you deserve it after all of the support you've given the ducktales series and the wanting of a remake or a sequel of this caliber to happen, enjoy it craig
Knowing Scrooge, it's probably real gold.
they just came out this year and are a promotion for Ducktales remastered
You can tell it's legit because there are no cotton tails or pony tails.
o.o Craig you lucky bastard....i never knew gold carts of ducktales exsists. Even though capcom does stupid shit at times you got to give em props when they do cool stuff such as this
"Great Scott" O.O
it seems only game websites like IGN got them they really are Collectible but i don't see the point since they played it they have just lowered the value it should of stayed in the case
Oh my GOD!!!! I want that so bad.
Hah wonder if James Rolfe or Pat The NES Punk would be after collecting this. You could have a bidding war on your hands Craig! lol.
They made 150 collector carts for MM9. They obviously didn't work, but the packaging was all real NES style.
There's only one thing I can do in celebration of this... http://i.imgur.com/ECr7O1q.gif
Damn dude. That's awesome. You're a lucky guy Craig.
Might will become collectable? It already is, if the fact that there are only 150 of those is true. I am wondering if those carts are already on ebay.
Well, looks like Capcom's feeling generous today. Maybe it's an apology letter in disguise for treating Mega Man like crap. Who knows, who knows. But still- you guys are lucky you got one of those.
Holy shit ... This is really cool of Capcom. Stroke that NES cart everyday Craig ! It deserves it.
