Cryamore is coming...to just about everything!

tl;dr

Cryamore is an action RPG that, thanks to Kickstarter, just got funded and the campaign has risen enough money to go multi-platform :D :D :D

It's coming to PC, MAC, Linux, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, OUYA and also iOS and Android, presumably sometime next year.

Editor’s Note: I know a lot of you g1s were watching this Kickstarter very closely and now that it has over-shot all of its stretch goals, you must all be as happy as tomato06 to see it getting ported to just about every platform under the sun. :)

After a month of intense pledging, the official Kickstarter for Cryamore ended with a whooping $242,309 (about 185,260€ for all you Europeans out there) raised for the game’s development, which is more than 4 times the original goal of $60,000...DAMN that’s a lot of cash.

What is Cryamore you ask?

It’s an action-RPG reminiscent of games like Secret of Mana, the Zelda series, Brave Fencer Musashi and many more.

In this game, you explore a Steampunk-ish island and solve various quests and overcome different puzzles (the developers say they will be very Zelda like) and then eventually you get into the combat, in which you use a variety of weapons and elemental abilities to slice and dice your enemies.

Pretty basic stuff but the developers say the combat is going to be quite deep, with different weapon skills (that you either buy in shops or find in the wild) and over 81 different elements to utilize in any possible way you can think of.

And as promised, since they have reached the $225,000 stretch goal, they will port the game to every major and non-major gaming device. This means it’ll be ported to the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS and even the OUYA!

Am I exited for the game?

HECK YES I am! Games like Secret of Mana and LoZ: Minish Cap are some of my all time favourites and to see the genre finally return makes the 12 year-old inside of me burst out with joy!

PS: The music is AMMMMMMAZZZING, check it out: here. Also check out Aivi Tran's other work while your at it.

Technically the Wii U game pad is a handheld? Maybe since it's coming to the PS3 you will also be able to play it on your vita.

Unless you count in all the mobile phones it's coming to. (Android and IOS) But yeah, it's kinda sad that they aren't porting it the 3DS or Vita. =(
