Crysis 3 was almost about to release on the Wii U
For those who have the Wii U, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that Crytek was working on a port of Crysis 3, so it can run well on the Nintendo console and show off a new engine for the Wii U.
The bad news is some company told them to cancel it because they wanted their online system onto the Wii U's structure, but Nintendo refused the deal. So who told them to cancel the port? Why it's EA of course. Both EA and Nintendo seem to refuse to get along after Nintendo denied Origin from being the Wii U's online structure.
So yeah, Crytek tried to give Wii U owners not only a port, but also a new game engine for Wii U. EA is to blame for making sure you don't see it. To the Wii U owners, would you like to play Crysis 3 on Wii U with a new engine, if EA didn't chastise Crytek for planning to release it?

At the very least, it's a loss of a new engine to play games on the Wii U with, so maybe some potential bigger titles...of course, if the engine gets introduced to the Wii U later, then no, not that big to you, correct. ;)

While I do think Nintendo needs to make like Scott Pilgrim and Get It Together, EA needs to stop being such asses. I think the fact that Wikipedia mentions 7 different sub-topics under the topic of Criticism should tip them off that something there is not working.
