Dark Souls II goes beyond death showing off all of the special editions
Making you its bitch is something that Dark Souls excels at. That's why the Collector's Edition and Black Armor Edition for Dark Souls II don't come with any foofoo DLC bonuses. We wouldn't want to give you an unfair advantage over your enemies now would we?
The Black Armor Edition instead comes in a nice metal case with the soundtrack and game. The Collector's Edition comes with a number of collectibles that include: a hardbound art-book, 12-inch Warrior Knight statue, cloth map, and all the Black Armor Edition content.
I'm not much for Dark Souls, as I enjoy staying married and know full well what sort of person that franchise would turn me into. Any g1s willing to take the plunge? See what you're getting yourself into in the below trailer.

The special edition comes with a Mafia enforcer who breaks your leg every time you die. Y'know, just to add insult to injury.
Personally I'm getting it on 360 just because it is easier for me to stream and capture footage for, but also the people that I do know that got the original on PC kept getting their worlds invaded by hackers, breaking the rules and what-have-you.
But it is an issue to consider given the problems I've seen people experience it with the current PC version of Dark Souls. I don't want the sequel to have the same issues.
That was completely a non-issue.
The collector's edition is out on PC. Or is there another problem to consider?
I want to get this game, but I still haven't finished the first Dark Souls and would feel like a quitter if I tried to skip the remainder of the game just to play this. On the level of frustration that I'm about to deal with, this will be like trying to run through a lemon juice soaked briar patch just so I can dig through some salt for a splintery wooden spoon to disembowel myself with before I'll be allowed to take a ride down the broken-glass slide and finally swan dive into a pile of lye. But by the time I'm done, I'll be sure whether or not I'm some sort of hero as I've likely finished what, by video game standards, would be a Herculean task.
I've never bought a CE in my life but that will change on March 11th.
Perhaps they will make the PC version a little more resilient to hackers ruining the experience for everyone.
I approve of this
I havent paid the game off yet, and I would get one of these editions, but the dont come to the PC. So yea, I really cant. :/
But at least we get the dlc.
