Darkstalkers Resurrection to haunt fighting game fans next month

Darkstalkers Resurrection, the downloadable Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 dual pack finally has a release date!
The fighting game community will be able to download this classic combo-heavy monster mash complete with upgraded visuals, added online play, and a new tutorial mode on March 12 via PSN for $14.99 or via XBLA on March 13 for 1200 MS points.
Capcom fans have been waiting a long time for a brand new Darkstalkers game and while a new entry in the series has been vaguely teased on multiple occasions, the development of the project hasn’t been set in stone.
Could healthy sales of Resurrection be enough to prove to Capcom how badly the fans want the series to continue? I guess the only way to find out is for the fans to vote with their wallets.

See, this is one thing I really hate about gaming companies today. "You want a new Darkstalkers game? Well, prove it by buying a re-release of older titles you may already own especially if you're a hardcore fan of the series."

No, it's more like 2D fighters are out of date and we don't need a new Darkstalkers. Everyone will call it shit like Marvel vs Capcom 3 or Street Fighter 4. Here is a compilation for the handful of people who cling to nostalgia.

I loved this series as a child, yet i wish capcom would focus on making better games. They need to salvage resident evil, or at least throw the dice and try a new series.

The last 2 games, Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil 6 got good reviews. Try not to spread the dissent. Maybe if you'd try their new games, you'd stop saying that Capcom needs to make new games.

the last 2 games capcom made were RE:R and RE 6 and RE6 got good scores? i thought the last 2 games were DmC and RE6 and they all sucked especially DmC. also, RE6 got really bad scores all over the web.

I hope march 13 is also the release date and not delayed.
I was looking forward to the new scott pilgrim dlc few weeks ago, lets just hope capcom doesnt do this either (most likely they won't do this to us).
