David Hayter, the voice Of Solid Snake, joins The Long Dark
The Long Dark, the latest Kickstarter (which you can support by checking out their Kickstarter here!) is fully funded, broken its first stretch goal and in its final 48 hour stretch. To end things off with, as they put it "not a bang but... one more thing", in their most recent post, they dropped some rather interesting news: David Hayter, voice of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear series and writer of Watchmen (the film adaptation, not Alan Moore's original series), will be working with Hinterland on The Long Dark.
Hayter is one of the many talented voice actors to be working with the Canadian studio along with the voice of Samus Aran Jennifer Hale of Metroid Prime trilogy's fame, the voice of Commander Shepherd, Mark Meer from the Mass Effect trilogy and Adam Jensen's Elias Toufexis in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It's great news to hear that Mr. Hayter is working on something entirely different than what he is normally known for, especially considering the baffling choice of Konami, Kojima or whoever made the call to exclude him from Metal Gear Solid V in favor of the older Kiefer Sutherland.
Then again, you don't need a voice to make a good Metal Gear game *cough* shameless plug *cough*.

I am liking where this is going!
Alternate Title - Video Game Voice Actors: The Video Game. I like me some voice actors/actresses, but hopefully the inclusion of the popular voices will add to the game, and not the other way around where it seems like a Bad Game with Good Voice Actors.
