Is the Dead Space short teasing Dead Space 3?
Convergence can't come soon enough, for me anyway. A short 3 minute Graphic Novel style short has appeared on the Dead Space website. After news of possible Co-op being added to the 'yet to be announced' Dead Space 3, could this be your fellow Necromorph hunter?
The short tells the story of John Carver, an EarthGov Sergeant assigned to the planet Uxor. He witnesses an attack on the Marker site he is guarding which changes his life forever. According to the video's You Tube description "This is just the start of John Carver's saga in the Dead Space Universe."
Now this could just be a tease for a new Graphic Novel, a new movie or even a interactive Novel style game like Dead Space Ignition.
But the fact that some rumours recently say your co-op partner is a man with a gnarly scar on his face, an engineering RIG of his own, and glowing red eyes peering from his helmet.. That looks awfully like Mr. Carver to me. Apparently there is also a countdown on the main website which ends on the day of EA's E3 press conference, the problem with checking this out for myself is that the countdown is in Unitology Symbols.
All this does seem to point to a Dead Space 3 reveal at E3 which is what everybody was expecting. You were, weren't you?

I think Im the only one who's stoked about this ... If its a new character Awesome ... if its still Isaac still AWESOME! ... I honestly cannot wait ... I'll play with whoever if it is a Co-op . Dead Space 3 baby! woooo!

hmm...well that doesnt really look like an Engineering RIG, I mean we havent seen many people wearing other RIGs in any of the games, but it looks slightly bulkier, im sasuming he isnt an Engineer. Also he seems to either be ambidexterous or has some form of transforming gun-gauntlet o_O. Oh ok he is a Sergent, means a battle RIG not an Engineering RIG.

EA has confirmed this. The game will be shown at E3.

haha that was entertaining I guess were really gonna find out what the necromorphs really are. I still say ever since the first ive wondered if they were just a parasite and now im starting to think they are more than that if the creators can make it right and the atmosphere to boot we have a winner cant wit.
