Deadpool himself recently had a press release sent out a to those in the gaming media, which revealed two two guest stars who will be appearing in his upcoming game to be released on June 25 for the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360. Even if he regrets not being the game’s only star.

“I thought it was pretty clear when I said I wanted a true Deadpool game that it would star every role! My star power shouldn't be limited to the central protagonist. I should be playing the hero, the anti-hero, the villain who eventually changes sides to join forces against the TRUE villain (me), the romantic interest, the quirky best friend, the comic relief, and at least 8 other characters in fat suits! Is that too much to ask?!”
But despite these feelings (and thanks to the advice of his therapist) he revealed the mutant psychic, martial artist Psylocke and the evil Mister Sinister will be joining their fellow X-Men mainstays Wolverine and Cable as part of the Deadpool: The Game cast.
Here are the character profiles, which Deadpool also insisted on writing:
I admit, this is a pretty funny piece of marketing, although I find it odd they weren’t revealed in the most recent trailer
Regardless, Deadpool: The Game looks like it could be a solid bit of off the wall (and NSFW) fun, even if it’d be nice to see some more gameplay footage before the release date…E3 maybe?
