Deal of the Day - Brink is free this weekend

12/2/11 9:40am

Splash Damage's FPS may not have received the critical reception they had hoped for, but Brink still has some redeeming qualities. If anyone would like to point those out for me, that would be great. Still, Steam is going to let you play it free all weekend and if you experience redemption, then you can purchase the game for $5 or $6.25 if you want all the DLC. This promotion will end on December 5th, so don't let it pass you by.

the limited edition content pissed me off so much.It wasnt that the content was just clothes but it was bethesda re released it.They split the Doom and spec ops packs into 2 completelty different packs with extra dlc included so now we have the Doom/Psycho pack and the Fallout/specops pack. Come on why did they have to that bullcrap?

I think Brink's single redeeming quality is that... uh... it's now free? Temporarily... okay, not really much of a redeeming feature. Apparently hardly anyone is still playing it and will probably abandon it when the free-to-play weekend is over with. I'm thinking your dollars might be better spent elsewhere!
