Despite there being a PS4 announcement on the horizon, Sony wants you to consider this PS3 bundle
In what could possibly be one of the last bundles to grace the PlayStation 3, Sony has decided to go all out with the Limited Edition God of War: Ascension Legacy Bundle. This crazy Super Slim PS3 comes in Garnet Red, along with the Dual Shock 3, and over 500 GB of HDD space. Not enough? Well how about all six games in the God of War Saga? That’s a whole lotta Kratos for your money.
Speaking of money, it actually comes in at a reasonably price $349.99. It also includes a 30 day trial of PlayStation Plus, who’s Instant Game Collection will net you another dozen free games, including hits like Darksiders, Super Street Fighter IV AE, LittleBigPlanet 2, and inFamous 2. Not a bad deal if you’re willing to fork over another $50 for the year.

Sony keeps throwing out bundles that are worth the money for the ps3. I still think this super slim model is super ugly though and already own a console with a recently updated 1tb hard drive so I'll pass on this. If someone didn't already own a ps3 this seems like another good bundle though.

While I would like a PS3, I have less than 0 intrest in the GOW series, so this is a pass for me.

Yeah I agree. Even though I already have PS3, the GOW series has never appealed to me. Too much Kratos if you ask me.

Going to be honest, even with the possibility of a Playstation 4 on the way in the coming weeks, this isn't exactly going to be "possibly be one of the last bundles to grace the PlayStation 3" is it? If there is an announcement then I'm still not going to expect the console till at least 2014 (earliest 2013 holiday season) so realistically, I'm counting on Sony to start releasing much more bundles, trying to push the PS3 for max sales before the PS4 comes along and hogs it's market.

Let me just get this straight: $350 for the console, 500 gigs of storage, 6 inarguably great games along with a guaranteed back catalogue of amazing titles which have now been out for some time and thus will be significantly reduced in price and available in almost any store or online retailer.
You compare that to the Wii U deluxe bundle which comes with 35 gigs, one game that I would say is great but many would argue (unfairly) is a glorified tech demo and a very measly catalogue of available games most of which are not good and priced at the full "new game" retail price.........
Yeah, somebody has a better deal here. Nintendo needs to start rolling out their A game soon because the competition is stiff. I have the Wii U and bought it because I know the Zelda and Mario, etc games are coming eventually and I always love those but that said Sony has a much better deal here.

Well yeah, but most of those are coming way after E3. And many of the games "announced" where merely games that were stated to be really properly announced later (3D mario game, Mario kart, Smash bros, and even the Shin Megami tensei X Fire Emblem game as no footage was shown) and the ones that were shown had so little actually demoed that its basically the same thing. Much more info coming, probably around E3, for a late Christmas, early 2014 release.
