DICE: Mirror's Edge, Bad Company 'too good to kill'
Remember the old slogan for the 2004 Boston Red Sox? No, not "Why Not Us," but "Keep the Faith." Well, in this instance, DICE is planning on keeping Mirror's Edge protagonist Faith Connors and her "Bad Company."
According to an interview with IGN, DICE executive producer Patrick Bach said that the Mirror's Edge property is a property "we love, and of course we haven't killed it, because it's too good to kill." In regards to Bad Company, a spin-off title in the Battlefield universe, Bach said the following:
"The Bad Company IP is still something we love, and it’s very dear to me because I worked on both titles. We have no information with where we are to a sequel to Bad Company, so I can’t tell you anything about that IP. However, we will never kill something that's great."
Bach assures fans that DICE and EA haven't given up on the two beloved franchises while stating that there are other projects in store for them. No other information about said projects were given, as Bach said that "you'll just have to wait and see."
What say you, g1s? Would you be amped for a return for Bad Company and Mirror's Edge, or have you lost "Faith" in either franchise?
