Dr. Wily's Japanese voice actor passes away

The man behind the evil Japanese Dr.Wily From Megaman, and the famous Colonel Campbell from the Metal Gear Series has passed away. It was posted on twitter by Japanese voice actress Eiko Yamada.

Takeshi Aono, famous for voicing Japanese anime such as Dragon ball's King Piccolo, Kami from Dragon Ball Z, Space Battleship Yamato's Shiro Sanada, and Hurricane Polymar's Joe Kuruma, passed away on April 9th. He was 75 years old. He was diagnosed as having an aortic dissection and a cerebral infarction in 2010 and had been struggling against the illness.

As millions of fans hear about this news, the Twitter account of Suda51's Snatcher prequel, Sdatcher, reminds us he was also famous for voicing Colonel Campbell from Metal Gear Solid. After hearing about this. Hideo Kojima States "there will be no more appearances by Colonel Campbell in MGS." It is a sad day for Millions of anime fans and video game fans worldwide.

But this was the JAPANESE voice actor; how can so many of you fall in love with someone who you probably haven't even heard if you played the English version of games or anime.

Some of us did watch the Japanese version of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z before it was ever dubbed, you know.
