The Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection has been confirmed for a NA release
About a week after an HD collection containing Dragon Ball Z Budokai’s 1 and 3 was revealed for a Japanese and European release, Namco Bandai has confirmed that Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD will also be released in North America sometime this winter.
As someone who loved DBZ but didn’t have the chance to play the original games, I’m pretty excited about this collection and I can’t wait too fire off some “Special Beam Canons, Galick Guns, and Kamehamehas and of course I have to kick some ass as The Great Saiyaman!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to train at 1X Earth’s normal gravity … what? You have to know your limits!

I enjoy your writing style truly loving this site. vigrx I've been browsing on-line greater than 3 hours lately, but I by no means discovered any fascinating article like yours. It is beautiful price sufficient for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the net will probably be a lot more helpful than ever before.

They should world on making Dragonball Online available to the whole world, or just make an awesome DBZ-RPG!

Am I the only one who thinks that these games are pointless because all they are doing is re-releasing the same game, over and over again. I love DragonBall Z incase people think I am a hater.

I love DBZ as well, but I have to agree with you. Each one got progressively better, but I think if any of them deserves an HD re-release, it'd be Budokai 3.
Why even include the first one? It's just a crappier game. What about Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 2 or 3? You know, two different styles of gameplay. But apparently it's easier just to waste time porting an obsolete game. I'm also still wondering why the omitted Budokai 2. It seems silly to include 1 and 3 but not 2.
Now, as much as I like DBZ, I won't be buying this (although if Budokai 3 is sold separately on PSN, I might budge). There are some DBZ games that are just terrible. I think the Burst Limit games are pretty bad, the Raging Blast games, whilst fun, have a lot of flaws, and I don't even want to TOUCH Ultimate Tenkaichi. Now they're making Budokai 4. God only knows if they'll ever make a GOOD DBZ game again.
I think I should go buy DBZ on Super Famicom..... Those old, 2D DBZ games are surprisingly fun. And pretty crappy, too. But no worse than a pointless HD collection of PS2 games.

Budokai 1 is what started it all, plus that game had the best cut scenes in any DBZ game. The cut scenes in Tenkaichi series are god awful. And of course for the last reason, nostalgia .

That doesn't mean they shouldn't include Budokai 2. I didn't like Budokai 1 much anyway. Budokai 3 was much better. Tenkaichi was fine. I don't know what your big problem is with it. Granted, Tenkaichi 2 had a far superior story mode than 3, but they were still good games, and focusing purely on the gameplay (and multiplayer), Tenkaichi 3 kicked ass, as well as having multiplayer in the Wii version and disc bonuses for the previous two Tenkaichi games if you had the PS2 version. Imagine combining both of those extras together for a PS3 port. That'd be epic.

Ohh yea, news to my ears! Had the 1st two but it'd be great to see play these games all over again in HD.

O_O...Why did it take Namco Bandai this long to confirm the US Release for this collection? It's not their RPGs it's DBZ, one of their money giving franchises

See, this is probably the point where the HD collection thing has gone too far. I thought the Tomb Raider thin was bad, but this? Come on, man, this is just ridiculous.

No one is going to need this once Budokai 4 comes out next year anyway. Pointless HD collection is pointless.
