If you’re a Wii U owner to be and you’re looking for an exciting, high-octane racer to enjoy on the console, you’ll be happy to learn that EA will be bringing Criterion's Need for Speed: Most Wanted to the Wii U.
This version originally appeared on a list of upcoming games featured in Nintendo’s latest financial report but it wasn’t officially confirmed by EA, that is until Polygon’s Alexa Ray Corriea
decided to look into the matter and ask EA for confirmation.
In a response sent by an EA representative, it was indeed officially confirmed that Most Wanted will be coming to the Wii U but it won’t be available until sometime in 2013.
This is some great news and a nice bit of additional proof that Nintendo is actually putting in more of an effort to attract third developers and publishers in its new console cycle. I wonder how Criterion will implement the GamePad? Hmmmm...
