Elder Scrolls Online is being developed by ZeniMax Online

Bethesda Softworks announced that they are working with ZeniMax Online to create the long rumored Elder Scrolls MMO. Planned to be a part of the Game Informer cover reveal this June, The Elder Scrolls Online is bringing the universe to MMO players around the world. The team is being lead by Matt Firor who has building online games for the past 20 years. Here is what he had to say about the recent announcement
“We have been working hard to create an online world in which players will be able to experience the epic Elder Scrolls universe with their friends, something fans have long said they wanted…It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years. The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise.”
Expect more info once Game Informer hits newsstands early this summer.

i like this, setting the entire backstory for elderscrolls with an MMO, it seems like from what it said that the game is gonna take place during the time before the first true emperor when molag bol first tried to unleash oblivion on tamriel, prety much the entier back story for oblivion and all the novels in game

How about just Co-op with up to 4 people. I don't want a whole mmo. Think about how much more hours of gameplay out of Skyrim if there had been co-op alongside with some harder enemies/quest

I cannot wait to play it. Bethesda is my favorite game company + i always wanted elder scrolls t be online, can't wait to see what it will be like. (just imagine all the mass chaos that would ensue, but i think they would probably tone down the amount of Op you can be, but then again, who knows)
