EVO Championship series games revealed
The games list for EVO has been revealed. Find out which games made the cut.
The road to EVO has officially begun, and thanks to the folks over at Shoryuken, we now know what the EVO lineup will consist of. The Tournament has increased to include eight games, as opposed to the six games chosen for EVO 2012. The games included in this years EVO championships are as followed.
- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
- Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
- Street Fighter X Tekken 2013
- Persona 4: Arena
- King of Fighters XIII
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2
- Mortal Kombat 9
The eighth game has not been chosen yet. To determine the eighth, Shoryuken is holding a charity drive in which all proceeds will be going to the Breast Cancer Research foundation. The game which raises the most money will be chosen as the eighth game in the EVO tournament.
These games include, but are not limited to, Super Smash Bros Melee and Brawl, MLP: Fighting is Magic, Skullgirls, and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. To donate just follow this Link and click on the game you want to see at the EVO championships.

FUCK YES EVO!!!! I want Fchamp to win Marvel EVO again this year but I think that Chris G is going to put up a fight. He's improved so much over the past year. KOF is hella intense to watch as well. CafeId is so sick at KOF. i remember being on the edge of my seat last year for it. and as for SSF4AE. i'm cheering for Ricky Ortiz oooorrrr Bee. if Bee is gonna be there. LET THE SALT BEGIN! evo time = best time

Hmmm, let's see. Donations to charity being the deciding factor, it's fairly obvious MLP is gonna win. If it doesn't, then I'd be fine with either BlazBlue or Skullgirls. Smash doesn't need to be on the main stage at EVO anymore. It's already had its time to shine. Time for some new blood. That's what the FGC really needs now more than anything.

The team wouldn't allowed the game to be in if they weren't sure that they could finish it by then. Have some trust in them. But if FIM doesn't win I hope either Melee or Skullgirls wins.
