Anonymous source tells all for "Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale"
Update: Leak has been confirmed as legitimate by PlayStation Blog.
There has been speculation abound regarding the roster for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, but after the most recent rumor leaked, we received an anonymous tip from a reliable source regarding what is actually in the game. The roster list which leaked has been corroberated as our source says the following characters are in the build they have seen.
- Kratos
- Parappa the Rappa
- Fat Princess
- Sweet Tooth
- Radec
- Sly Cooper
- Nathan Drake
- Cole
- Ratchet
- Jak
- Evil Cole
- Big Daddy
- Dante
- Heihachi
- Nariko
- Raiden (MGS)
- Sackboy
- Sir Daniel
- Spike
- Toro
Keep in mind this is not a complete list of the final roster, only what has been seen. Sadly there is no Crash currently listed, but there is speculation from our source that the DLC characters could include: “Cloud Strife, Sora, Alex Mercer”, Minamoto Yoshitsune, or even a Soul Calibur character. Additional levels have been confirmed by the source as well and the full list includes:
- "Columbia" (BioShock Infinite)
- "Alden's Tower" (Infamous)
- "Invasion" (Killzone)
- "Sandover Village" (Jak and Daxter)
- "Paris" (Sly Cooper)
- "Black Rock Stadium" (Twisted Metal)
- "Hades" (God Of War)
- "San Francisco" (Resistance)
- "Metropolis" (Ratchet and Clank)
- "Dojo" (Parappa)
- "Stowaways" (Uncharted)
The last thing that blew our mind was how far off the rumor was regarding modes in the game. According to our source “there is no king of the hill, there is no capture the flag implemented yet nor have I heard talk of anything like that… LAN games were removed due to the amount of bugs submitted for it, no free roam as far as I have seen… And the Challenge, General and Character trials are being removed in order to be made into DLC”.
The best part is though, that the boss character has been revealed as none other than the Playstation One era Purple Polygon Man! Now that’s what I am talking about! So there you have it. We will not be 100% sure on any of this information until we see a response from Sony, but in the meantime, does this sound reasonable?

i know its "confirmed" and all, but im still to disappointed that im refusing to believe.
lack of top tier characters that EVERYONE knows and wants, EG you only have 1 character (heihachi) from your top 25 (parapa being 27th) top selling PS1 games of all time, removed stages and game types, and hearing DLC usually means PAIDED DLC.
Sony, as one of your (maybe THE) biggest fanboys here. you gone done fucked up.

The leaked content is kinda promising but for the love of god pls add crash and spyro and add an alt. costume for dante from dmc1 or dmc3

In the meantime Sony why don't you do a little something by obtaining back rights to one of your most iconic figures in the Playstation lineup for DLC. Crash, Issiac Clark, and Cloud or Lightning for DLC.
