Expect Monster Hunter news from Capcom before the end of 2012

Capcom says they've got some thing to tell us about Monster Hunter before the end of this year.
In a post on the Capcom Unity forums, Capcom senior vice president Christian Svensson responded to complaints that fans were let down when no Monster Hunter news was announced at E3, Nintendo Direct, or even Gamescom.
“A few weeks ago, I told MH fans on this forum that you'd hear something before the end of the year. Nothing has changed on that front... You're also assuming that when it comes, it'll be at some event you can see coming from a mile away. That's not necessarily a correct assumption. While I appreciate the passion, I can't help you if every possible industry event leads to build up and crashes in anticipation. If we somehow get to Dec 31 and you do not have more visibility, then please be mad at me. Until then, I'd request the benefit of the doubt and your continued patience. Thanks for being such great fans.”
Does anyone else have their fingers crossed for a Monster Hunter 4 US release date? Let the speculation begin!
Oh, and Capcom? If you find a way to upset me once again. I'll have no choice but to un-friend you on Facebook. It's gotten THAT serious :'(

I got Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii. No regrets. Thinking about doing an online LP of it someday before the NA servers shut down. I really hope that MH4 does have a world wide release date. Otherwise Capcom may as well never talk about Monster Hunter around the world ever again.

Even though I only played a PSP demo of one of the MH games I will gladly buy this game if it comes to the west. Because with Capcom giving the middle finger to Monster Hunter fans lately which I feel your pain,I promise you this. I will buy this 3DS game if it comes to the US.

Hey! Nothing wrong with hoping that Capcom will stop being lazy and cheap with the series and actually bring it to something more comfortable and user-friendly to play on. Besides, being "exclusive" to the PSP certainly didn't stop Capcom from re-releasing a few PSP-era MH titles as HD games for the PS3. Or the previously PC-exclusive Frontiers to the 360.
