Phil Fish is creating an interesting indie title called Fez.  While it may look like a 2D platformer, the environments are actually being built in 3D. This can be seen in the first long screenshot and now the second one below, which Phil Fish just posted. That wasn't all, because the tweet mentioning the second long screenshot was followed by harrowing news.

The heartbreaking news is that Fez will also be delayed and is not going to make it out for Christmas. In that tweet following the trailers release, Fish parenthetically mentions "(and fez is delayed to early 2012)". At least the trailer is beautiful...
