With Final Fantasy VIII, could I be a little too obsessed?
Have you spent an extreme amount of time power leveling in a game?
So, Since I have the Final Fantasy games on my PSP Go with a PS3 controller for full controls, and I finally beat Final Fantasy II; I started yet another save on Final Fantasy 8.
This time, I leveled up my characters extremely fast from the start. I just got to the first Laguna mission (On the way to Timber for the 2nd Seed Mission) And Squall is level 50. The others are about level 30 average. All 3 GFs have all skills learned, I haven't gotten Diablos yet. I have like 15 hours of play in, so I'm gonna move ahead now. I've only ever gotten to the 2nd disc on the game. I always lose my save.
I also spent 20 hours attacking myself before the FF2 ending. because I practically had to keep X held down (I did eventually use tape for this so I could level up and finish my tests in school at the same time.
Anyone have any crazy moments where they couldn't stop leveling in an RPG or something? (Pokémon is a good example)

lvl 50 on the way to timber??? wtf on my current (way to) 100% walktrhough i'm just lvl 60 fighting bahamut. D:
but yeah, on my previous walktrough i got all chars to lvl 100 (not that hard) and all GFs to lvl 100 and all skills, THIS was the grinder, some 200 ap skills just feel as if you were never gonna get'em (even then i couldnt beat Omega weapon, that bastard)

At the start of the game if you fight at the beach you'll fight enemies that give 6 ap each. All my GF's have all abilities, not quite level 100

yeah, but they wont give the same 6 ap when you are leveling bahamut cactuar doomtrain etc. either way, if by the time you're lvl 50-60 and the 1st 4 gfs dont have all their skills, you are most likely doing it wrong

I loved FF8. the only "grinding" i do is when i get Diablos and work on getting Mug. Good luck man!

Final Fantasy IX. I grinded my characters until they learned all possible skills.

I'm restarting my save on 9 again. I feel like level 11 at lindblum isn't enough. plus I lost a really good save.
