The first video and images of Valve's Steam Machine landed online yesterday.

Youtube user Corey Nelson was one of the first beta testers to show footage of the Steam Machine. His unboxing video showcased the console's packing material designed to look like a shipping crate, its brickless power cable, the Steam Controller and more. The video has 281,865 views as of this writing.

Reddit user colbehr provided detailed, close-up photos of a Steam Machine on the social media website. The photos showcase the console, all paperwork that comes with it, the shipping box, all cables and the Steam Controller.

The device, coupled with Valve's SteamOS, is part of Valve's drive to bring better computing and gaming to the living room. The company revealed the Steam Controller, SteamOS and Steam Machines as part of its living room efforts earlier this year.
