Gon Paku Paku Paku Paku Adventure announced for Nintendo 3DS

3/21/12 12:23pm

According to a new website, Namco Bandai has revealed a new action title for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is currently named Gon Paku Paku Paku Paku Adventure (a simple name). Your goal is to survive and navigate through a variety of levels, where you must face the serious challenges of hunger, exploration, and sleep. If you know Japanese, you can check out the video game's official site by clicking here.

Not too much factual information was provided, but the dinosaur character Gon is from an older manga of the same name. The manga, which has an anime currently scheduled to start this April, revolves around a small dinosaur who survived the cataclysm leading to the extinction of all other dinosaurs. Presented without any dialog, the manga creator Masashi Tanaka stated that the work was meant to be a work of artistic expression, often combining themes of innocence, survival, and the development of individual strength.

The website mentions that the game is currently planned for a release date of June 14, which is likely to coincide with the upcoming anime adaptation of the manga. Some screenshots were also provided on the website, courtesy of Namco Bandai.

DAWWWW, look at the little dinosaur devour everything! I hope we see some gameplay footage soon, this looks interesting. Looks like there is now another game made by namco with a brightly colored character that devours everything and has 'paku paku' in his name.
