Gravity Rush wins TGS GOTY. Sequel teased by director

I think it’s safe to say with its critical acclaim, solid sales, and the fact its main protagonist Kat has become a fan favorite heroine among Sony die-hards, that Gravity Rush is the breakout hit the Vita desperately needed.

During the Tokyo Game Show, Gravity Rush continued to prove its value as a Sony IP as it received the Game of the Year honors at the event. After winning the award, the game’s director Keiichi Toyama almost immediately took to Twitter to thank the fans for their support and to also say that he’d "do his best on the sequel.”
This hint at a sequel made fans very excited with many asking for further details but Toyama was unable to speak any more about the matter.
While this doesn’t necessarily confirm Gravity Rush 2 as a game that’s in development, I think when you add this tease with Toyama’s past outspokenness about wanting to make a sequel and the buzz about Kat being a potential member of the PSABR roster (DLC most likely if true), it’s safe to say GR2 is likely coming.
