Green Man Gaming loses EA as a client (outside of the UK)
Steam isn't the only Online distributor to remove EA titles from its service. Green Man Gaming has removed all EA games from its digital library in all territories. Well, except for the UK.
Green Man Gaming’s community manager sent out a message to all users stating that all EA games had to be pulled from the service in all regions outside of the UK.
The reasons behind this decision are currently unknown, although it has been hinted that it is due to some kind of contract dispute.
You know this is just a shot in the dark but maybe it has something to do with Origin. I don't know. It was just a crazy thought I had.

The way things are going for EA, it looks like they are going to end up in financial ruin in the not too distant future

Don't be silly. Their biggest market is console games and they come from hard copies and not DD so losing revenue on this will barely make a noticeable dent.

Oh yeah good point. Well, I hope EA ends up in financial ruin one day 'cause they are a bunch of greedy tosspots
JesterKris
Lol that's fair enough to hope!

GMG is a great company, second source for video games after Steam.

Green Man! I'm always happy to see the Green Man come out. What does Dayman have to say about all this?

Never heard of the Green Man Gaming company and would this even put a dent in EA at all?

to sum up the Contract Dispute
Green Man: Would you like to renew your contract with us? EA: Fuck you Green Man We have Origin

Hey EA your mask is starting to chip... People can see the monster behind it again.
EA seems to be having a LOT of contract disputes with Digital Distribution providers lately... funny how EA started having contract disputes after they launched Origin. No doubt this contract dispute is over "unreasonable terms of service" forced on them by Green Man. I find the timing off these contract disputes EXTREMELY suspect. It seems to me EA is looking for any little reason to dispute their contracts with other digital distributors now that they have their own digital distribution platform. That way they have an excuse for pulling their support of the... not to mention they are able to blame the other party for it like they did with steam. No doubt they will also claim this has nothing to do with Origin as well.
