GTA V writer interested in another Bully title
While Grand Theft Auto V is undoubtedly Rockstar’s most popular title, a recent interview with the game’s scribe, Dan Houser, revealed the writer is currently interested in working on another entry the critically-acclaimed Bully franchise.
When asked by Polygon if now is the time to release another entry to the series, considering the controversy surrounding Bully when it initially released in 2006, Houser stated, “I know I want to. Well, hopefully, you never know. There’s a lot of directions I could go with that one, it’s funny.”
The writer was then asked about the possibility of an older version of the game’s protagonist, Jimmy Hopkins, staring in a Grand Theft Auto title. However, Houser doesn’t see Jimmy “being that level of degenerate.”
Regardless, from what we’ve seen Rockstar achieve this generation, a new edition to the Bully series would surely not disappoint. But what do you think, g1s? Would Jimmy Hopkins be able to make the grade again? Or should the franchise just be left alone? Let me know in the comments below!
I think it should be like GTA and take place in a new setting/school. I mean, it would seem odd the Bullworth goes back to being a craphole and new cliques are introduced that were never mentioned in the last game.
I'm sure this is gonna go over well with all that anti-bullying crap that keeps flooding tv
If you listen closely, you can hear the sounds of self-righteous pricks revving up to declare this game yet another effort to 'corrupt our youth.'
if this was made it might save kids from getting bullied because the bully would be playing this or it might be bad and give the bully's new ideas
